FIFA 16 is still not entirely flawless

This is all part of what FIFA is calling the “Dynamic Match Presentation,” and it works to bring the game to life. For this review, I spent most of my time in the Ultimate Team mode. Quickly, for those who don’t know, FIFA 16 Ultimate Team is a game mode that’s shared across most EA Sports offerings. You collect players and cards from Buy Fifa Coins a bunch of leagues around the planet and use them to assemble your team. You’ll buy new cards with in-game currency (or real money, if that’s your thing) as you attempt to create a wonderful team with great chemistry.

If this is your first Fifa game on the new gen consoles then you will be blown away by all the little details that together contribute to an overall experience not too dissimilar to watching football on live television. If you owned FIFA 16 on Xbox One or PS3, FIFA 16 is still a significant upgrade, though maybe not the revolutionary product that it was built up to be. It’s a baby step rather than a leap towards perfection.

FIFA 16 is still not entirely flawless, but then who cares when it’s already the new best football simulation ever? Fundamental changes to Ultimate Team are few, but loan players are now available; allowing you to poach international superstars for a brief period of time. The better the player, the shorter the period, so while it’s a real thrill to be able to have Arjen Robben playing for your ragtag group of Fifa 17 Coins chumps for a few matches, the danger is always that you’ll waste money plugging a gap that can’t be filled when he leaves.
